Policy Statement:
A student may be assigned an "I" (Incomplete) grade if they have a current average of C or higher at the time of determination, based on completed coursework, and are unable to finish the remaining requirements due to documented extenuating circumstances.
Students must complete the Incomplete Grade Contract for their instructor to consider issuing an incomplete grade. This contract ensures that the student understands their responsibilities and the requirements for completing the coursework. The table below outlines the deadlines for students to complete all unfinished coursework. If the required work is not completed by the specified deadline, the student will receive a failing grade.

Students should be aware that receiving an "I" grade may impact their financial aid and should strive to complete the coursework as soon as possible. Additionally, if the course in which they received an "I" serves as a prerequisite for another course, they must first earn a grade of "C" or higher before registering for the next course.
